A nice way of making beef curry with vegetables. No hassle of grinding the masala. My son loves it very much. Goes best along with any rice pulao.
Ingredients
½ kg Beef cubes
200 gms mushrooms
1 potato
10 beans
5 baby corns
1 tomato
2 medium onions
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
½tsp coriander powder
½ tsp cumin powder
1 tsp black pepper powder
1½ chilli powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
2 small cinnamon sticks
4 cloves
1 big black cardamom
2 bay leaves
2 tsp ghee
salt to taste
How to make Beef Curry
Heat ghee in a wok. Add all the spices ones by one followed by the finely chopped onions. Fry the onions for five minutes on medium fire, then add the ginger garlic paste and tomato paste or chopped tomatoes. Fry it for three minutes. Turn the fire very small, add all the powders, make sure they are not burnt. Now toss in the washed beef small cubes and fry for two minutes, add chopped potatoes, salt and two small cups of water. Close the lid and pressure cook for ten minutes on medium fire. Once done and cooled open the lid add the vegetables, close the lid and cook it for two minutes. Your curry is ready.
